About Us
Core Kinetics began in 2011 with a vision to combine training and science. The goal was to educate and coach athletes based on sound, fundamental training principles. Jason believes there is a balance between the ‘want’ and ‘need’ of every client. The ‘want’ is satisfied by which the client has a rapport with their trainer, having input into their individual goals in an environment that promotes education and creativity. The ‘need’ is centered around assessing the client for asymmetries and compensation patterns in movement. Functional capacity is restored through reinforcement exercise. The platform of mobility to stability to strength is utilized to progress a client through the training process.
The stability and strength of the core is instrumental to the human body. Philosophically, the core functions as a brace, helping to maintain the body’s intervertebral structures. In addition, it provides muscular control to maintain functional stability. As it translates to sport, core stability/strength controls the position and motion of the trunk over the pelvis to allow optimum production, transfer and control of force to the segments in integrated athletic activity. Consider the game of tennis in which the forces generated in the serve or ground stroke, start in the lower extremities and are transferred through the core to the upper extremities.
No matter the sport or individual, the core is an integral component of any training program. Core Kinetics provides a systematic approach to training, that is both fun and focused. Come train today!

moreSally Fischer
Personal Trainer
Sally Fischer is a Colorado Native. She graduated from the University of Colorado with a BS in Organizational Management and Communication. After spending over a decade in the insurance world and spending a few years at home as a full time mom and caretaker for her mother, she entered the fitness world. Her mother had a major stroke at the age of 52 which left her with complete loss of function of the right side of her body. Frankly, she should not have even survived this event. Sally worked, alongside, a few physical therapists that brought enough function to her mom’s right leg, that she was able to remain living independently. Sally was so impressed with the dedication and determination of her mom’s PT’s that she looked into going back to school to become a physical therapist. At that time, a friend in the PT world suggested that she might pursue personal training as an alternative to an additional seven years of education. This is where her journey begins…
She became a certified Personal Trainer through Athletes and Fitness Associates of America (AFAA) in 2006. Several years later, she received an additional certification through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). She Started her fitness career in 2006, working primarily with female clients. She developed a successful fitness challenge program, which launched in the Parker area in 2006. This program integrated weight loss, strength, and the emotional aspects of women’s health by hosting support groups during the 12 and 16 week challenges. She believes that continuing education is in this field is important and has received many additional certificates for injury prevention, core activation, and nutrition. In addition, she spent several months shadowing an orthopedic surgeon. This included pre-op visits, operating room, hospital rounds, post- op appointments and physical therapy. She did this to further her education and knowledge of the human body and how and why we break down.
moreAlexis D. Weir, MATm, MATRx
Owner of WellPower, LLC
Alexis has a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from the University of Oklahoma and started in the field in 2008. Her specialty in school was the muscular system and exercise physiology.
She has been involved in many types of fitness related fields such as dance, swimming, golf, gymnastics, basketball, tennis, and snowboarding as well as experienced physical traumas to her own body such as injuries and pregnancy, so she has thorough knowledge of the types of stresses put on the body through all kinds of physical activity and life events.
Early on in her career, she discovered and found a passion in MAT (muscle activation techniques) and she found that if the muscle was inhibited that it could not function properly, thus causing the dysfunction of the muscle during exercise and daily activities. She found through her studies that most people have unbalanced muscular systems due to stresses on the body. So by specifically targeting the inhibited muscle, pain and tightness could be reduced and body function could be greater. She achieved her certification as an MAT Certified Specialist in 2011.
Also in 2011, she decided to open her own business, WellPower, to share her knowledge with people and help them in any way she could. She wanted to be able to combine all the knowledge she has learned through her experiences and help people so they could do the things that they love to do without physical limits.
